Welding methods

CO2 (MIG/MAG) welding

MIG/MAG – welding in a protective atmosphere, also called CO2 welding. It is an arc welding in a protective atmosphere of gases using various filler materials.

TIG (WIG) welding

TIG welding means Tungsten Inert Gas and symbolizes tungsten electrode welding in a protective atmosphere of inert gas. You can often come across the abbreviation of WIG, which comes from German and means Wolfram Inert Gas, which is the same as TIG.
